Each winning combination grants a RESPIN and unlocks one additional row above the main reels. The golden panels covering hidden rows progressively reveal until all three bonus rows are active or no new wins occur.
The Book of Gates scatter appears exclusively on reels 1, 3, and 5 during the base game. This ancient golden tome with a glowing teal ankh symbol cannot form winning combinations on its own.
The Wild shows a regal female pharaoh in a diamond-shaped golden frame. Only one Wild can land per reel, appearing exclusively on the central reels 2, 3, and 4.
Landing three scatter symbols simultaneously triggers 10 Free Games at your current bet level. Unlike the base game, all three hidden rows are fully uncovered from the first spin, guaranteeing 5-8 symbols per reel and up to 32,768 ways to win on every free spin. RESPIN mechanics do not apply during Free Games as all rows are permanently active throughout the feature.
Book of Gates uses a dynamic symbol system with four high-value Egyptian deity characters and six traditional card symbols. All wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, regardless of symbol size. Values shown for €2.00 bet. Book of Aztec slot by Amatic also relies on deity and card symbols but awards wins across 10 paylines rather than adjacent-reel mechanics.
Click the Bet button (coin stack icon) to open the bet selector. Choose from €0.10 to €200.00 per spin. Your selected amount is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Press the central Spin button (circular arrow icon) to start. The five reels will populate with 2-5 symbols each, randomly determined. Watch for matching symbols connecting from the leftmost reel.
Any winning combination automatically triggers a RESPIN and unlocks one hidden row. The teal "RESPIN" text appears above the reels, and a golden panel slides away to reveal 3-6 symbols per reel. Consecutive wins unlock additional rows.
Land three Book scatter symbols simultaneously on reels 1, 3, and 5 to activate 10 Free Games. All three hidden rows remain permanently unlocked throughout the feature, guaranteeing maximum ways to win.
All wins are automatically added to your balance. The trophy icon in the bottom-left displays your current win amount. The Spin button changes function to "Collect" when wins are pending. Book of Santa by Endorphina displays wins the same way but adds a risk game that lets you gamble collected amounts on a double-or-nothing card draw.
Certified return-to-player rate for base game spins. Theoretical long-term payout calculated across millions of spins under test conditions.
